Trip to Quilt Japan Exhibit - 10:30 AM

About this event

Join us for a look at the touring exhibition of quilts from the "largest and most prestigious international quilt contest and exhibition in Japan" known as Quilt Nihon. All contemporary and traditional quilts are first prize winners in one of nine different categories.

Japan boasts one of the world's largest quilter populations with 2 to 3 million quilt makers. Japanese quiltmakers learn quilt making within an established organizational structure that administers teaching and certification programs.

Admission is free, but we suggest a $5 donation.

If you would like to stay for lunch after viewing the exhibits at the museum, you're welcome to join us at the Liberty Public Market.

Pam will arrange carpools.
